The USB cable is a programming cable that uses the USB interface for serial connections and signal conversion of peripherals. Programming is performed via the USB interface connector and the serial signal converter for peripherals. Under computer control, the cable simulates the computer's USB interface to a traditional serial port (also known as a COM port), allowing the use of current programming, communication, and monitoring software.
