USB GPS Dongle Navigation Module for Windows and Linux, Compatible with Google Earth

The VK-162 GPS receiver is a compact USB dongle that brings reliable satellite positioning to your computer. Designed as a plug-and-play external module, it provides accurate location data for mapping, navigation and timing applications without the need for a built-in GPS receiver. System Compatibility The VK-162 supports both Windows and Linux operating systems, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of desktop and laptop setups. Please note that it does not support Android or iOS devices, so it is best suited to computer-based use rather than mobile platforms. Simple Setup and Worldwide Use This USB GPS dongle offers a straightforward solution for travellers who need location services on the move. Once you have downloaded an offline map for the country you are visiting, the receiver will display your position without requiring a paid subscription or mobile data connection. It works across the globe, so you can rely on it wherever your travels take you. Useful for Radio Amateurs For radio amateurs engaged in digital communication modes, accurate timing is essential. The VK-162 helps synchronise the timing of these modes, supporting precise and reliable digital transmissions. Its ability to deliver consistent timing information makes it a practical addition to a portable or fixed radio setup. Compact and Convenient Design The VK-162 comes as a small, lightweight USB dongle with an integrated antenna mount, making it easy to carry in a laptop bag or pocket. Simply connect it to a compatible USB port, and it is ready to provide positioning data for applications such as Google Earth and other mapping software.
