If you’ve ever had cold spots at the top of your radiator while your heating is on, or if they made clunky groaning noises then its likely that they need to be bleed. The cause is trapped air that you can easily let out through a radiator bleed valve using a radiator bleed key or screwdriver. So, while bleed valves are a functional part of the heating system, they don’t have to be ugly!
