Usage Tips: Flame failure valve with inlet and outlet with Flare thread 5/8-18UNF. Only suitable for low pressure application (max BTU rating: 50,000). Suitable for gas grill, heater, fire pit, or fireplace with matching connections. Specifications: 600mm thermocouple with M8*1 threaded head Bakelite knob OD 38mm, D shaft 6.1mm Operation Instructions: 1. Secure the valve to a plate or board on your grill or fire pit using the head screw and flange. 2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the respective sides of the valve. Ensure tight connections to prevent gas leakage. 3. Tighten the M8 thermocouple nut securely onto the valve end. (Verify that your valve end thread is 8mm before installation.) 4. Ensure proper connection between the thermocouple and the end thread. 5. Turn the knob to open the gas and press the valve for approximately 5–10 seconds until the thermocouple tip is sufficiently heated. 6. Release the valve. If the gas shuts off after releasing, check the following: - Ensure the thermocouple tip is fully exposed to the flame. - Confirm the thermocouple end is securely connected to the valve. - Verify that both inlet and outlet connections are tightly secured to the hoses.
