Safety Control Valve Kit for Gas Fireplace Heater Thermocouple Replacement LPG Edition

Usage Tips: Flame failure valve with inlet and outlet featuring Flare thread 5/8-18UNF. Only suitable for low-pressure applications (maximum BTU rating: 50,000). Compatible with gas grills, heaters, fire pits, and fireplaces with matching connections. Specifications: - 600mm thermocouple with M8x1 threaded head - Bakelite knob with 38mm outer diameter, 6.1mm D-shaft - Material: Copper - Color: Yellow Operation Instructions: 1. Secure the valve to the plate or board of your grill or fire pit using the head screw and flange. 2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the respective sides of the valve. Ensure tight connections to prevent gas leakage. 3. Tighten the M8 thermocouple nut securely onto the valve end. (Verify that your valve end thread is 8mm before purchase.) 4. Ensure proper connection between the thermocouple and the end thread. 5. Turn the knob to open the gas supply and press the valve for approximately 5–10 seconds until the thermocouple tip is sufficiently heated. 6. Release the valve. If the gas shuts off upon release, check the following: - Ensure the thermocouple is consistently exposed to the flame. - Verify the thermocouple end is securely connected to the valve. - Confirm the inlet and outlet are properly connected to the hoses.
