Omniscient Card Game

Omniscient is a fast card game with separate oral and written challenge modes. In oral rounds, players match a theme with a word beginning with a letter card in hand, then discard cards when the answer is accepted. In written rounds, players connect as many words as possible to a famous real or fictional character, defend disputed answers and try to remove their life cards. The English edition plays in about 15 minutes for 2-8 players ages 10+ and includes 160 cards, an hourglass and a notepad. -ORAL WORD CHALLENGE: Match the round's theme with a word that starts with a letter card in your hand, then discard cards for accepted answers. -WRITTEN CHARACTER CHALLENGE: Start with 5 lives and list words linked to a famous character; the player with the most accepted words removes a life card. -DEFEND YOUR ANSWERS: Explain disputed ideas and persuade the group, making imagination and lively debate part of every round. -TWO GAME MODES: Combine speed, vocabulary and knowledge in oral play with creativity and discussion in written play. -CONTENTS AND PLAYERS: English edition with 160 cards, 1 hourglass and 1 notepad for 2-8 players ages 10+, about 15 minutes.
