Brass Thermostatic Mixing Valve

This brass thermostatic mixing valve is designed for reliable, precise temperature control in domestic bathrooms and kitchens. It measures standard DN15–DN25 (½″–1″) size with a compact body suitable for wall-mounted or in-wall installation. Constructed from durable brass with internal thermosensitive wax element, it weighs approximately 0.8–1.2 kg depending on size. The valve operates within a working pressure range of 0.03–1 MPa (0.3–10 bar), with ideal performance between 0.1–0.5 MPa (1–5 bar). Cold water inlet temperature range: 5–29°C; hot water inlet: 30–99°C. User-selectable outlet temperature range includes presets at 20–60°C, 35–55°C, 40–50°C, and 30–60°C — fully customisable to household needs. Temperature control accuracy is ±2°C. No electricity or external power source required — fully mechanical operation ensures fail-safe reliability. The valve features automatic cold/hot water ratio adjustment to maintain constant outlet temperature despite fluctuations in supply pressure or temperature. It adopts a normally closed cold water design: when no hot water is present, cold water flow is blocked. If hot water supply drops below the set temperature, cold water is cut off to prevent lukewarm output. In case of sudden cold water interruption (e.g., during shower use), the valve shuts off hot water within 3 seconds if inlet hot water exceeds 40°C — preventing scalding. Ideal for residential bathrooms, en-suites, wet rooms, utility areas and kitchen sinks. Also recommended for care homes, schools and other public facilities where user safety is critical. Installation requires connection of hot water to the ‘H’ port and cold water to the ‘C’ port. For optimal longevity, balanced inlet pressures are advised; if pressure difference exceeds 0.1 MPa, a pressure-reducing valve should be installed on the higher-pressure side. DN15–DN25 models include built-in check valves; larger sizes (DN32–DN100) require external check valves when pressure differential exceeds 0.02 MPa.
