Matcha Tea Spoon - Chashaku

Learn how to tame the Japanese tea rituals at home with the Matcha tea spoon, or Chashaku, used exclusively for Matcha tea powder. A spoonful of Matcha with the Chashaku equals one dose for 1 person (depending on the matcha teas). To be combined with the bowl of ceremony as well as the Chasen (traditional bamboo whip). For a traditional matcha preparation, pair with a Chawan (bowl of ceremony) and a Chasen (matcha whip). After dosing and pouring the tea powder using the Chashaku, pour the hot water over it and then beat the preparation with the Chasen (whip matcha) by making zigzags, until a froth Shape at the surface. This spoon is made in the mountainous region of Zhejiang in China. After use, rinse with clear water by handling it gently. Do not use detergents. Wipe clean with a clean, dry, soft cloth. As a traditional instrument of the Japanese tea ceremony, the Matcha tea spoon will accompany you on a daily basis for your Matcha tea preparations
