Usage Ideas A unique and memorable character: No need to settle for a generic mascot. An original design, colors that resonate with your target audience, and a facial expression that inspires trust or joy… Your mascot becomes a true icon. Whether at an event, an advertising campaign, or an in-store activity, your character will be the center of attention. Children (and adults ) will love posing for photos, interacting with it, and taking home an unforgettable memory. Consistent visual communication: Integrate your logo, company colors, and key messages directly onto the costume. Your mascot becomes a marketing tool in its own right, reinforcing your brand image with every appearance. No need for expensive advertising materials: your mascot speaks for you. Limitless flexibility: Need a mascot for a one-time event. A seasonal character for Christmas or Halloween. An ambassador for a specific campaign. Change accessories, clothing, or even facial expressions to suit your needs. With proper care, it can last for years and be used for multiple events. Polyfoam (polyurethane foam): The go-to material for mascot heads, and for good reason. Lightweight, durable, and easy to sculpt, polyfoam allows for detailed facial expressions (smiles, winks, raised eyebrows…) while remaining comfortable for the wearer. It’s also very easy to clean with a damp cloth, which is a real plus for intensive use. Plus, it’s available in multiple densities, allowing you to adjust the firmness level to your needs. Animation Tips Fiberglass or resin: For extreme durability and long-lasting performance, some manufacturers use fiberglass or resin for mascot heads. These materials are particularly well-suited for mascots in demanding environments (theme parks, trade shows with heavy foot traffic…). Latex or silicone: Less common but ultra-realistic, latex or silicone allows for creating very fine textures (wrinkles, scars, fur…) for a nearly human-like appearance. These materials are often used for mascots in films or TV series but are also suitable for high-end costumes. Be aware, however, that they may be less breathable and more difficult to maintain. Fiber lightweight resin: This is the most common solution for mascot costumes. The fiber (often polyester or fiberglass) is coated with a lightweight resin that gives it rigidity and durability.
