Signal Output and Frequency Range This DDS Signal Generator Module Development Board, model AD9850, provides a practical way to generate up to two sine waves and two square waves for your projects. It covers a frequency range from 0 to 40MHz, giving you a broad scope for testing and development work. The square wave output is available up to 1 MHz, which is useful for digital circuit applications. Cleaner Waveform Generation To help maintain a cleaner signal, the module is equipped with a 70 MHz low-pass filter that contributes to an improved signal-to-noise ratio. It uses a 125MHz active oscillator as its clock source. Please note that harmonics increase and waveform purity decreases when operating above 20-30MHz. Adjustable Amplitude and Compatibility You can adjust the output amplitude using the dedicated pin and the on-board variable resistor, offering flexibility to match the signal level to your circuit's requirements.
