Fingerprint Recognition Made Simple This optical fingerprint reader module combines the optical path and fingerprint processing in a single integrated unit, offering a compact solution for projects that require reliable fingerprint identification. How It Works The module handles the two essential stages of fingerprint use: registration and matching. This makes the module flexible enough for both verifying a known user and identifying a match from a small enrolled group. Communication and Integration Communication is handled through both USB and UART interfaces, giving you straightforward options for connecting the module to a microcontroller, single-board computer or PC. The fingerprint algorithm manages the extraction, storage, comparison and search functions, so you can integrate fingerprint capability into your project without building complex processing logic from scratch.
