Frequently asked questions Does it work with my Tassimo machine? Our pods work with all the tassimo models listed in the pic below and T-20 (T20), T-45 (T45), T-46 (T46), T-47 (T47), T-55 (55), T-65 (T65), T-300 (T300) brewers. Why the reusable disc is higher than branded T discs? Can it be fitted into my tassimo brewer? Yes, our reusable disc is higher than branded ones but all brewers should be able to handle this size disc. It is normal to experience a little resistance when closing the unit. But,don't force it if you have to press too hard. Why all 3 reusable disc models has the same dimension? Yes, there is only one size. Just the barcodes on them are different. The bracodes control things like water temperature, cartridge charge (loading the disc to soak), flow rate, volume (how much water you get in the cup), and purge (final phase of the brew cycle). Each of these characteristics are different for the different types of coffee you would like to brew. What coffee can I use? You should use a finely ground coffee. For weaker coffee, grind it coarser. For stronger coffee, grind it finer. Also, make sure you use a good grade of coffee (Illy/Lavazza/Starbucks, etc.). The taste is only as good as the coffee used. What size capsule do I need? This is entirely down to your personal preference. The 60ml size is perfect for a 'shot' of coffee, like an espresso. Where as the 180ml & 230ml size is great if you prefer a larger cup of coffee! If you're looking to make a hot chocolate, we'd recommend using the 180ml or 230ml capsule. All capsules are the same dimension, so will fit in your machine regardless, but will tell the machine to dispense more/less water! Can you use them for milk? Yes, of course you can! Either use powdered milk, or a small amount of liquid milk that fills half way up the capsule. Can you use them with hot chocolate? Yes, of course! We'd recommend using 1 and a half spoonfuls of hot chocolate powder. Feel free to experiment with the amount of powder used to get the perfect hot choc! Can you use them for tea? Yes! You can put tea bags or dry tea in the capsule. Fill it halfway and you will get at least 2 cups of tea. Depending on the tea you use, you can even get yummy foam on top.
