If the input power source is a switching power supply, solar panel, or electric generator, the undervoltage protection value should be set lower to avoid damage. 2. Low Input Voltage Protection Adjustment: To set a low input voltage protection for a 12 V battery, connect the inputs to a 10 V power supply and adjust RV1 (clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease) until the UVLO indicator lights up. The protection voltage is now set to 10 V. If the battery voltage drops to 10 V, the output will not boost, and the output voltage will match the input voltage. 3. Voltage Adjustment Guide: Turn on the device without connecting it to the load. Adjust the 'VADJ' potentiometer clockwise to increase voltage or counterclockwise to decrease it. Due to the large output capacitance, the response is slower when adjusting or low voltage. 4. Current Adjustment Guide: Before connecting to the load, turn the 'CC AADJ' potentiometer counterclockwise approximately 30 turns to minimize the output current. Then, adjust 'CC AADJ' clockwise to the desired current value. When using the device to charge a battery, connect it to the output only after the battery is fully discharged. The more charge remaining in the battery, the lower the charging current will be.
