Testing Procedure: - The test liquid should be at a temperature of 25°C, with temperature fluctuations kept within ±0.2°C. - Select the appropriate cup number based on the expected viscosity range of the liquid. - Fully immerse the cup into the test liquid. - Measure and record the liquid temperature inside the cup, then remove the thermometer. - Use the finger loop on the handle to lift the cup vertically in a quick and steady motion. - Start the stopwatch as the cup exits the liquid surface. - Maintain the cup no more than 15 cm above the liquid level during drainage. - Stop timing at the moment the first definite break in the liquid stream occurs.
