Description

Two sine-wave outputs and two rectangular-wave outputs. As harmonic content increases in the 20-30 MHz range, the waveform becomes less clean; use within the recommended range for best performance. 125 MHz crystal oscillator drives the AD9850, with a 70 MHz low-pass filter to improve waveform purity. PIN12 header provides a convenient reference for easy adjustment of the output waveform size (amplitude) in your application. Comparator reference input voltage is adjustable via a variable resistor, allowing different duty cycles for square waves. Designed for compatibility with standard AD9850 control interfaces; suitable for bench testing and RF experimentation. Use scenarios - Bench signal generation: generate stable sine or square waves to test RF amps, filters, or ADC front ends. - Microcontroller and digital testing: simulate clock or PWM signals for MCU input stages and logic testing. - Education and demonstrations: illustrate DDS concepts, waveform shaping, and the effect of filtering on harmonics.
