1. This is a softwaredefined radio receiver featuring an RTL2832U ADC chip, R820T2 tuner, 1PPM TCXO, SMAF connector, and an aluminum housing with passive cooling. It is tunable from 500 kHz to 1.7 GHz with bandwidths up to 3.2 MHz (2.4 MHz stable). (HF operates in direct sampling mode.) Ideal for use as a computerbased radio scanner with software like SDR, HDSDR, SDR Radio, GQRX, or SDR Touch on Android. Compatible with computers running OSX, Linux, Android, and Windows. 2. Includes a versatile dipole antenna kit, for beginners. Shorter antennas are for ADSB, while longer antennas perform well at lower frequencies. When configured as a Vdipole, the antenna is suitable for 137 MHz weather satellites and the International Space Station. Use the vertical configuration for ground signals. Brackets and RG174 cables enable easy outdoor antenna setup. 3. for a wide range of applications, including general radio scanning, air traffic control, public safety communications, ADSB aircraft tracking, ACARS, trunked radio, P25/MotoTRBO digital voice, POCSAG, weather balloons, APRS, APT/Meteor M2 weather satellites, radio astronomy, or as an affordable pan adapter for amateur radio.
