OEM-Compatible Pull Starter Assembly

Weighing 205 g (7.2 oz), this pull starter assembly features compact dimensions suitable for STIHL 021, 023, 025, MS210, MS230 and MS250 chainsaws. Its housing and internal components are moulded from engineered plastic selected for resilience under mechanical stress and environmental exposure. The assembly replicates the geometry and functional behaviour of the original STIHL part 11230801802, ensuring full compatibility with existing recoil mechanisms and housing mounts. Manufacturing follows tight dimensional control to guarantee consistent tension, rope alignment and return stroke — critical for reliable ignition. Its modular design supports efficient servicing: users can replace just the starter unit without dismantling the entire engine casing. This makes it especially suited for homeowners and small-scale landscapers maintaining equipment across multiple seasons in variable UK weather conditions.
