14-Bit Magnetic Angle Sensor Module

This magnetic induction angle measurement sensor module is built around the MT6701 chip, delivering precise absolute angular position sensing from 0° to 360° using differential Hall technology. It measures the perpendicular component of a rotating radial magnet’s field and operates across a wide voltage range (3.3–5.0 V) and temperature range (−40°C to +125°C). The module offers multiple output formats: 14-bit digital angle data via I²C or SSI interface; ABZ incremental output configurable from 1 to 1024 lines; UVW incremental output with polarity support from 1 to 16; and 12-bit analog or PWM absolute output. A dedicated press-detection output enables tactile button functionality by sensing axial displacement between magnet and sensor. Linear deviation is typically under ±1°, and remains within ±1.5° across the full operating temperature range. System latency is as low as 5 µs, supporting rotational speeds up to 55,000 rpm. The chip includes on-board EEPROM with over 1,000 write cycles for configuration storage. Package includes one encoder board, one magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
