Open the depot. Unscrew the sealing plug (rain protection). 1. Insert the key attached to the side into the recess in the lid and turn. Remove the lid. 2. Prepare the snap trap. Place the scent bait in the designated recess of the snap trap (1). Set the snap trap (2). To do this, press down the tensioning lever with both thumbs until it audibly clicks into place. Place the set trap in the bait station (3). 3. Securely position the bait station. Close the lid and replace the sealing plug to prevent rainwater from entering. Position the bait station so that it is inaccessible to children, domestic animals, and wild animals. Align the entry holes parallel to the wall. To secure the bait station against being moved, screw the wall bracket in place at the appropriate height. The screw eyes must point upwards. Slide the bait station, with the vertical ribs on the back, into the corresponding slots in the wall bracket from above. 4. Check the trap. Check the set trap at least every two days. If the trap has been triggered, check whether an animal has been caught. 5. Remove the captured animal. Press down the tensioning lever to release the dead animal from the trap without touching it. 6. Cleaning the trap: Rinse the trap thoroughly with warm water. Rat control advice: Bait stations should be placed directly on rat trails to create a barrier between nests and feeding areas. Wear gloves when inserting the scent bait and setting the snap trap to avoid human scent on the bait station. The Sugan bait station with monitoring bait is not sufficiently effective for rodent control.
